  • 1 & 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 34 medium)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Stir in mashed bananas until fully combined.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; do not overmix.
  6. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a skewer comes out clean or with moist crumbs attached.
  9. Allow to cool before slicing.
