  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups dry white grape juice
  • 2 cups chicken or turkey stock
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 whole lemon, zested
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 teaspoons sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Add 2 cups of water to the bottom of your roasting pan.
  3. In a saucepan, combine melted butter, white grape juice, and stock; warm over low heat.
  4. Mix softened butter with herbs, garlic, lemon zest, and salt to create the herb butter rub.
  5. Rub two-thirds of the herb butter under the turkey's skin and spread remaining on top.
