  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add olive oil, yogurt, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and minced garlic to the spice mixture; blend until smooth.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or shallow dish; pour marinade over them and ensure even coating.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (overnight recommended).
  5. Preheat grill or oven to appropriate temperature: grill or bake at 400°F (200°C) until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
