  • 1/4 cup (55g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup (50g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 15oz can pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup (100ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (110ml) milk
  • 1 3/4 cups (230g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (85g) pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Make the streusel topping by combining melted butter, flour, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, and pumpkin pie spice until crumbly.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and kosher salt.
  4. In a large bowl, mix pure pumpkin puree, both sugars, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just mixed; do not overmix.
  6. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle half of the streusel on top.
  7. Add remaining batter and top with leftover streusel.
  8. Bake for 60-80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. While cooling slightly, whisk powdered sugar with maple syrup to create the glaze.
  10. Drizzle over cooled bread before serving.
