  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices, drained and chopped
  • Maraschino cherries, halved
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (for cookies)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions
