- 15 jalapeño peppers
- 12 oz turkey sausage (or chicken sausage)
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 packages crescent rolls
- 4 oz butter
- 1 Tbs garlic powder
- 1 Tbs onion powder
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Trim the stems from jalapeños and slice them in half lengthwise; remove seeds for milder flavor.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture and place one sausage on top.
- Cut each crescent roll triangle in half; wrap each stuffed jalapeño with dough and place on a baking sheet.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle kosher salt over the top.
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
