  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 pound shredded Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add green onions, garlic powder, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and sriracha. Cook through and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, heat avocado oil and sauté shredded Brussels sprouts with salt and pepper until soft and caramelized.
  3. Combine the cooked beef with the Brussels sprouts in the skillet along with sweet chili sauce and lime juice. Mix well until everything is coated.
  4. Serve warm over rice or quinoa.
