  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter or olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the shrimp with minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Melt the butter (or olive oil) in a saucepan over medium heat; stir in half of the Parmesan until creamy.
  4. Pour the buttery mixture over the shrimp; toss to coat well and spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 8–10 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  6. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan and parsley before serving.
