  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans (toasted)
  • For the glaze: 1/4 cup unsalted butter, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp milk or cream, 3/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Toast chopped pecans on a baking sheet for about 5–7 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture while mixing gently.
  5. Fold in cooled toasted pecans.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets and bake for about 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
  7. Cool cookies before drizzling with glaze made from melted butter, brown sugar, milk, and powdered sugar.
