  • 2 chicken breasts (about 400g), thinly sliced
  • 4 large tortillas or flatbreads
  • 1/4 cup hot chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh vegetables (lettuce, carrots, cucumber, bell pepper)
  • Optional: mayonnaise or yogurt-based sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water (for slurry)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together chili sauce, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Set aside.
  2. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry; set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper; cook until browned (6-8 minutes).
  4. Pour in the sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cornstarch slurry until thickened.
  6. Prepare vegetables as desired.
  7. Warm tortillas briefly to prevent tearing.
  8. Assemble wraps with vegetables and chicken; roll tightly.
  9. Serve immediately or store for meal prep.
