  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2/3 cup butter, divided
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • Sea salt flakes
  • Drizzled caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and brown sugar; cut in cold butter until resembling coarse crumbs.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of the pan evenly.
  4. Sprinkle pecan halves over the crust.
  5. In a saucepan, melt 2/3 cup butter with brown sugar over medium heat, stirring for one minute once boiling.
  6. Pour the caramel mixture over the crust and pecans evenly.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and sprinkle milk chocolate chips on top; let them soften before spreading into an even layer.
