  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup strawberry jam
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup hot milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Blend freeze-dried strawberries into a fine powder.
  3. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla together until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and gradually add flour, baking soda, strawberry powder, salt, and jam.
  5. Roll dough into balls and place on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 8 minutes, then flatten slightly and bake an additional 2-3 minutes until golden.
  7. For icing: mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, hot milk, vanilla extract, and remaining strawberry powder until smooth.
