  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. In the same skillet, whisk together softened cream cheese and chicken broth until smooth. Stir in grated Parmesan and simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Place seared chicken in a greased baking dish and pour the sauce over it. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve over rice or pasta.
