  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel sauce)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (for caramel sauce)
  • ½ cup heavy cream (for caramel sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (for caramel sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. For the brownie layer, melt butter and mix with sugar. Add eggs one by one along with vanilla extract. Combine dry ingredients and fold into the wet mixture. Bake in a greased springform pan for 25-30 minutes.
  3. For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Incorporate eggs and sour cream thoroughly. Pour over the cooled brownie layer and bake for another 30-35 minutes.
  4. Prepare the caramel sauce by melting sugar until golden brown, then whisk in butter and cream; add sea salt.
