  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour, cooking for about 1-2 minutes until bubbly.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk, allowing it to simmer for about 4-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Lower the heat and add the chopped Brie cheese, stirring until melted.
  6. Combine the macaroni with the cheese sauce until fully coated.
  7. If desired, transfer to a greased baking dish and top with breadcrumbs before baking at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes until bubbly.
